The breakthrough has been acheived when in california the fusion reactor gave more energy output than it utilised. I was in 11th grade(2005) when I first foresaw this day and I clearly remember it was the nuclear binding energy lesson in chemistry followed by fission reactions in physics I believed that this would one day be true. At that time there were no blogging websites to prove that I foresaw it.
Now I would like to propose some some preparations the world has to do. As we know most of our appliances work on electricity which is produced by petroleum. Since the day is near that the fusion reaction will produce immense electricity, our race is going to be transformed into a high energy utilising species. As low energy would be thing of past. It may also happen that green house gases and cooling systems are also utilised using energies.
The immediate concerns now for world is how to distribute this lots of energy. Because unless it is utilised there is no point in production (in huge amounts).
I assume for that reason there would be an indispensable need for energy distribution system,which I call as CONCURRENT UNIVERSAL GRID, This will connect all the power systems like todays internet systems, and we will have global tariff.
The problems for this is less scientific and more political as the nations which would consume energy will lie in east asia, for eg. India,pakistan and south east asia regions. and the producers will be in european continent.
There would be power sharing tussles as there are now for water in Indian subcontinent. But it wont be detrimental for in the decades to come having electricity would be part of our basic human rights.
I am unaware of relation between heavy energy release and green house effects it will cause to the atmosphere of earth. But by making it mandatory to invlolve cooling systems at heat dissipation orifice by "pressure temperature relations" we might immediately doze off heat.
What all purposes can we use these systems is virtually this moment a sci-fi thing. But installation of wireless inductor charging stations for cars built underground seem to be an important area of proliferation.
